For all those who don't know what to do and feel helpless about the awful news yesterday. One thing, and I'm not promoting myself here, would be to download and print my petition, collect signatures and send it to my school: Killester College, 433 Springvale Rd, Springvale 3171 so that it gets there by the 19th Feb. If I can get 30k signatures or more there is hope they will take notice. Download it on the petition page.

In the cartoon it says that we approve of this. The politicians believe they're doing what we want. The only way to get them to change policy is to get enough people - more than 25% to speak out. This happened when the photo of the drowned toddler came out last year. Our compassion and action worked then and the government made a new policy because of it! We need to tell them what we want! They want OUR votes!! WE have the power!! Don't feel powerless! Get that petition and SIGN for these kids. Please share so that we can get the word out.
